Character Obituary

...So here is Melvin's Character Obituary. I also decided that his name is Heath D. Melvin...Read on to find out why he is named the way he is named.

Heath D. Melvin(Curtain Call)
Heath Melvin died in New York, NY on January 1, 2017 after battling his split personality and ending in suicide. His body was found in an empty theater on a stage where he had his final act.
Heath was born on June 10, 1990 in Terre Haute, Indiana. He was the only child of Lisa and John Melvin who both worked in the field of Medicine. Heath’s childhood was never full of love. His parents didn’t much affection when he was growing up. Mindy was his best friend since childhood who he shared interests with. Both went to high school and college together.
Heath fell in love with his career. This is how he flushes out the emotions that have been building up throughout his life. Heath is a known method actor. In fact, he took it so seriously that he was accepted into a mental facility. His roles don’t only happen behind the curtains, but also in the outside where he lives in his role. He played a major role in “Phantom of the Opera”. He was also the president of a group called “Actors Guild”. Even though he lived a busy life, he donated some of his time into an organization called “Hope for Cancer” where he inspired children with cancer.
There will be a public calling at the Eternal Life Chapel this Friday at 10:00 a.m. followed immediately by a private funeral ceremony at the Glass Gardens. Memorial contributions can be made to the Hope for Cancer fund to help children with cancer.

  1. Poor Melvin. Is his name Heath because Heath Ledger was a method actor as well?

  2. Like the idea of the actor battling his split personality ending in his own suicide. I know said it was a suicide but still not clear on how exactly Heath did himself in. Wondering since decided to go with stage acting instead of movie if your actually like theatre or acted on stage? Good blog never the less.

P.S. Love Phantom of the Opera!

  3. I like the Heath Ledger reference. Very nice detail in the backstory. Maybe you should mention his friend's last name, though.
